Shannon Adventure Canoeing Holidays offers you an excellent opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life and enjoy a relaxing canoeing holiday on the River Shannon. Operating out of Banagher, County Offaly they offer an alternative to cruising with a camping and canoeing holiday on the River Shannon, Grand Canal and River Barrow.

The two man canoes they use are of Canadian touring class. They are fully equipped with cooking, camping and safety equipment. Sleeping bags are not supplied. Canoe courses are available on request. Canoe hire is available on weekly, weekend or daily basis. Bed and breakfast can be arranged on request.

Canoeing and camping holidays- Canoes are supplied with or without camping, cooking and safety equipment. They also provide a drop off and collection service of canoes on request.

Tuition Available

Canoeing proficiency 1 & 2 courses in open canoeing for both Children & Adults. Operates ladies courses on request. Courses available for transition year students. All courses certified by the Irish Canoe Union.

Canoeing Holidays May/October. Open Canoe holidays all year round.
